Since publishing my first book of Doorways and Openings in 2015, I have photographed many more doors so it seemed like time to bring out a second in this series. These images can be used to make SoulCollage® cards and are especially useful for SoulCollage® Facilitators who are holding workshops around a theme, particularly themes relating to thresholds, doorways and entering new phases of life. Doorways are so symbolic and are metaphors for many transition times in life. These doors can also be used in your art projects and journals. You can freely share anything you create with these images online - on your website, blog or social media sites. I encourage you to pull off the cover and tear out the pages! All the pages in this book are created with the same door on the front and back of the page so that when you “open” the door by cutting it with a craft knife or scissors, the back of the door matches the front of the door. If you’d like to make the door a little sturdier you can cover the image (on both sides) with a Matte Acrylic Fluid Medium before cutting it open. I also use my door images to make 5x7 size Gatefold cards. This “open door” card is like a little altar and apart from using it as a greeting card, it can be used to house a blessing, an intention or a prayer.
